YOWICAN Chairman Pays Courtesy Visit to NSCDC Gombe Command

The Gombe State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Jibrin Idris, has received a courtesy visit from Alhamdu Barnabas Jatau Esq., Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Gombe State Chapter.

During the visit, Chairman Jatau commended Commandant Idris for his leadership and contributions to maintaining peace and security across Gombe State. He briefed the Commandant on the association’s activities, including preparations for its forthcoming annual procession rally, and sought guidance to ensure the event is conducted successfully and peacefully.

In his remarks, Commandant Idris expressed delight at the familiarisation visit and applauded YOWICAN’s role in promoting peace and harmony. He assured the association of NSCDC’s support, pledging to provide adequate security coverage for its activities. He also urged the group to share credible intelligence that could assist the Corps in protecting critical national assets and curbing vandalism within the state.
