CCMA Decorates Newly Promoted Officer, Major Joel Ruben Mamza

The Chief of Civil-Military Affairs (CCMA), Major General Gold Chibusi, on Tuesday, 16 September 2025, decorated the Department’s Legal Desk Officer, Captain Joel Ruben Mamza, with his new rank insignia of Major.

Represented at the ceremony by the Deputy Chief of Civil-Military Affairs, Major General Oluremi A. Fadairo, the CCMA congratulated the newly promoted officer and urged him to uphold excellence, discipline, and commitment in the discharge of his future responsibilities.

In his response, Major Joel Ruben Mamza expressed gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, for finding him worthy of the promotion. He also appreciated the Chief of Civil-Military Affairs for his guidance and support throughout his career journey.

The ceremony was attended by senior officers, including the Deputy Chief of Special Services Programme (Army), Major General K.E. Chigbu, and the Chief of Standards and Evaluation (Army), Major General T.B. Ugiagbe, alongside other officers, family members, friends, and well-wishers.
