The Federal Fire Service Headquarters in Abuja witnessed a landmark gathering on Tuesday, as former Controllers General of the Service paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Controller General, Samuel Adeyemi Olumode. During the visit, former Controllers General — Engr. James Olusegun Okebiorun, Engr. Joseph Garba Anebi, and Dr. Alhaji Liman Ibrahim congratulated CG Olumode on his appointment. They encouraged him to prioritize the welfare of personnel, sustain ongoing reforms, and enhance nationwide fire prevention and emergency response systems. Key recommendations included reducing response times, upgrading firefighting equipment, and intensifying public safety education to foster a culture of fire prevention in communities.
