In the South-South, troops of the Joint Task Force (OPDS) destroyed over 5,000 litres of suspected stolen crude oil and illegally refined AGO during anti-bunkering operations in Bayelsa and Rivers States.
According to the source, the sustained momentum of these operations underscores the determination of the Armed Forces to deny criminals freedom of action nationwide.
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Olufemi Oluyede, urged troops to maintain their offensive against terrorists and other criminals. He also called on Nigerians to continue providing credible and timely information to support ongoing military efforts.
