In line with the directive of the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC),Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, the Gombe State Commandant, Commandant Jibrin Idris, convened a high-level coordination meeting with heads of all security and law enforcement agencies operating in the state.

The meeting, held at the NSCDC Gombe Command headquarters, was aimed at fostering inter-agency collaboration and effectively implementing decisions from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) on the protection ofcCritical National Assets and Infrasture (CNAI).

Key agencies in attendance included:
- Commissioner of Police, Gombe State
- State Director, Department of State Services (DSS)
- Commander, Nigerian Army 301 Artillery Regiment (General Support)
- Commander, Nigerian Air Force 109 Base Wing
- Commander, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)
- Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC)
- Controller, Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS)
- Comptroller, Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)
- Commander, Federal Fire Service (FFS)
- Zonal Commander, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
- State Coordinator, Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA)
The forum reaffirmed the NSCDC’s role as thelead agency in the protection of CNAI and emphasized joint intelligence sharing, strategic planing, and synergy among security stakeholders.
