The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) today played host to the Director-General of the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON), Major General Babatunde Ibrahim Alaya, in a strategic visit aimed at strengthening collaboration between both institutions.
During the engagement, discussions focused on enhancing synergy in critical areas such as personnel training, provision of operational equipment, and the development of hardware tailored to evolving security needs.
The Commandant General of NSCDC, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, reaffirmed the Corps’ unwavering commitment to fostering a strong working relationship with DICON. He emphasized the importance of leveraging local capabilities and inter-agency cooperation to advance Nigeria’s internal security framework.
Both parties expressed optimism about the prospects of mutual support, innovation, and improved operational capacity in the fight against emerging security threats.
