
The newly posted State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Gombe State Command, Commandant Jibrin Idris, has paid courtesy visits to the Commander of the Nigeria Army 301 Artillery Regiment, General Support Gombe, and the Commissioner of Police, Gombe State Command.
During his visit to the Nigeria Army 301 Artillery Regiment, Commandant Jibrin emphasized the need for enhanced collaboration between the Corps and the Nigeria Army in the state.
The Commander, Col. A. M. Muhammed, responded positively, praising the efforts of NSCDC officers and men in the field.
The Commandant also visited the Commissioner of Police, Gombe State Command, at the Police State Command Headquarters, Gombe.
He was warmly received by CP Bello Yahaya and other senior officers. Commandant Jibrin sought to strengthen the working relationship between the two security agencies, and the Commissioner assured him of cooperation to ensure a crime-free state.
Both visits ended on positive notes, with the Commander presenting a plaque to Commandant Jibrin and a photo session with the Commissioner of Police.
