GOC 6 DIVISION VISITS NTA, KEVES GLOBAL LEASING…Reassures of Functional Collaboration

As part of his resolve to galvanise support from critical stakeholders in the Niger Delta Region, the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 6 Division, Nigerian Army (NA), Major General Emmanuel Eric Emekah has on 13 May 2025 visited, the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Network Centre, Port Harcourt and KEVES Global Leasing, a logistics-based company. The visits were part of the GOC’s drive in fostering functional collaboration with critical stakeholders within 6 Division’s Area of Responsibility in recent time.

During the visit, the GOC thanked the NTA for the level of support they have been providing to the NA and the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN). He further maintained that the NA and NTA are Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) institutions, working for a common goal. He also added that if NTA succeeds, the NA and indeed the entire AFN have succeeded. The GOC pledged to continue to work with NTA, not only in maintaining the existing cordial relationship, but surpass it. He reassured NTA, that 6 Division under his watch, is just a phone call away, stressing that the Division will continue to support the NTA as a critical national institution of the FGN to function effectively.

While, making her remarks, the Zonal Director, NTA Network Centre, Port Harcourt, Dr (Mrs) Evelyn Nwosu expressed her appreciation to the GOC, for the level of support 6 Division have been providing to the NTA. She further appreciated the GOC for the interest he has on the NTA, reassuring him that as a Zonal Network Centre they have a lot to do in terms of providing the desired coverage for the activities of 6 Division,NA. Hence, the centre dedicated a staff to provide robust coverage in this regard.

Dr Nwosu said, the NTA premises is wearing a new look through the tremendous support they have been enjoying from the Division. She thanked the GOC for the support and reassured him of sustaining the functional collaboration existing between the two national institutions.

Similarly, the GOC visited KEVES Global Leasing, and was briefed on the activities of the company by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Chief Ikenna Okafor. This was followed by an interactive session essentially focused on how the relationship between the Division and the outfit could be sustained.
