Easter: NSCDC Commandant orders deployment of 1500 in Kaduna

The Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kaduna State Command, CC Muhammadu NB Dansadau, has ordered the deployment of 1,500 personnel across the state before, during, and after the Easter celebrations.

In a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Musa Labaran, it was stated that the deployment is to protect lives, property, and critical national assets and infrastructure across the state.

The Commandant warned criminal elements in the state to repent or face the consequences of their actions.

“We have warned criminals across the state to repent or be ready to face the full wrath of the law, as our men are deployed across the 23 Local Government Areas of the state to arrest suspected criminals and those attempting to create chaos,” he said.

The Commandant, while wishing Christians a happy Easter celebration, advised them to use the period, marking the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as a reflection of their daily lives.

He assured all residents of the state of the security of their lives and property as they go about their normal businesses.
