NSCDC DELTA DEPLOYS 958 OFFICERS FOR A SECURED EASTER CELEBRATION, COMMANDANT OVYE CHARGES OFFICERS TO PROTECT LIVES AND PROPERTIES OF DELTANS AND ALL CRITICAL NATIONAL ASSETS AND INFRASTRUCTURE IN DELTA

Commandant Ovye in a swift move to ensure a hitch free easter celebration on Wednesday 16th of April, 2025 deployed 958 personnel of NSCDC Delta to all parts of the state including identified black spots and flashpoints in the state ahead of the Easter Celebrations.

The state Commandant, while addressing Officers
charged them to be professional in the discharge of their duties.

He urged them to match intelligence with action to forestall any act that may constitute breach of peace.

Commandant Ovye reiterated the need to ensure the protection of all Critical National Assets and Infrastructure in the state this festive season in line with the mandate of the Corps.

He expressed expectations that officers will work in synergy with other security agencies to achieve a peaceful and hitch free easter celebration in Delta State.

Commandant OVYE assured Deltans to go about the Easter Celebrations without fear or apprehension as security arrangements have been put in place to ensure a crime free celebration.
