The Public Relations Officer ( PRO ), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Superintendent of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin has poured out his overreaching joy and encomium, in appreciation to God, over the ratification and appointment of Professor Habeeb Abiodun Sanni as a full fledged Professor of History, by the Governing Council of the prestigious Lagos State University, yesterday, Thursday, 27th March, 2025, at the Main Campus of the University, in Ojo, Lagos State.

The PRO also seized, the rare privilege to congratulate Professor Habeeb Sanni, who was his Teacher, Mentor and Supervisor, in the University during his Master in Academics, for attaining this great feat, in this very dynamic season in our nation’s history.

The Professor has really mentored, a lot of students, impacted lives and contributed to knowledge and human development across various institutions, families and states of our country and other renowned places of human convergence in the world including; the United Kingdom and the United States of America, just to mention a few.

The PRO said that the Professor, who has remained a people – friendly oriented Mentor and Teacher over decades of gaining and shearing more knowledge has remained one of the great symbols of our nation’s renewed hope and inspiration for the younger generation in both the academic and non – academic world as the world continues to take from his vast wealth of wisdom for improved human development and policy rejuvenation.
