The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Katsina State Command, Commandant of Corps Aminu Datti Ahmad along with other service Chiefs attended the funeral of late Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari, the beloved mother of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda today Sunday 23rd March, 2025 at Radda, Charanchi Local Government Area, Katsina State.

The burial rites which took place today at Radda Village in Charanchi Local Government Area had in attendance the Governor of Kano State, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf and his Jigawa State counterpart, Alhaji Umar Namadi.

State government officials present included Deputy Governor Mallam Faruq Lawal Jobe, Speaker of the State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura, Secretary to the Government of the State Barrister Abdullahi Garba Faskari, members of the State Executive Council, and Head of Civil Service Alhaji Falalu Bawale.

Also in attendance were the Emirs of Katsina and Daura, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman and Alhaji Faruq Umar Faruq, respectively.The State Chairman of APC, Alhaji Sani Aliyu, along with council chairmen and district heads were also present at the funeral

The funeral prayer, which drew a large gathering of Muslim sympathizers, was led by the Chief Imam of Katsina Central Mosque, Imam Gambo Mustapha.
