COMMANDANT AHMAD MOURNS THE PASSING AWAY OF MOTHER TO KATSINA GOVERNOR, HAJIYA SAFARA’U UMARU BAREBARI

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Katsina State Command, Commandant of Corps Aminu Datti Ahmad as well as entire Management and Personnel of the Command expressed much shock upon the news of the demise of Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari, the beloved mother of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda.

Hajiya Safara’u passed away last night at the age of 93.A mother to Governor Radda, Hajiya Safara’u nurtured generations of leaders and community pillars.Her children include the current Village Head of Radda, Alhaji Kabir Umaru Radda, and Hajiya Hauwa’u Umaru Radda, former wife of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua.

Hajiya Safara’u leaves behind a legacy that reaches far beyond her immediate family.Her values of integrity, perseverance and community service continue to inspire all who knew her.

Commandant Ahmad described late Hajiya Safara’u as a woman of remarkable strength, wisdom and compassion.Her legacy and values will continue to inspire many people.

He further condoled His Excellency Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD, CON, the family and the good people of Katsina State.
The Commandant also prayed may Almighty Allah forgive her short comings and grant her jannatul firdausi.
