6 BRIGADE COMMANDER COMMENDED FOR ENSURING SAFE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT AS NARC PARTICIPANTS VISIT TARABA BUSINESS SCHOOL

The Commander 6 Brigade Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa, has been praised for his commitment and leadership in fostering a secure environment that enables businesses to thrive in Taraba State. This commendation came during the ongoing local study tour of the state by participants of the Strategic Management and Policy Studies Course from the Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC).

As part of the tour, the visiting team, led by Major General Dahiru Sanusi, visited the Taraba State Business School, where the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gabriel Olayinka, briefed them on the institution’s activities. Established in 2015, the school has trained over 500 entrepreneurs, contributing significantly to economic growth.

Olayinka acknowledged the vital role of the 6 Brigade under Brigadier General Uwa, noting that the improved security in the state has provided a conducive environment for businesses to flourish. He highlighted the commander’s proactive leadership in ensuring peace and stability.

The delegation proceeded to the Technical Incubation Center of the National Board for Technology Incubation, where they gained insight into initiatives aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship.

The final stop of the visit was at the office of Brigadier General Jeremiah Aliyu Faransa Rtd, Chairman of the Taraba State Board of Internal Revenue and the Special Taskforce on Environmental Protection, Public Safety, and Prohibition of Deforestation.

In his address, Brigadier General Faransa emphasized how enhanced security has significantly contributed to revenue generation. He also commended the 6 Brigade for its cooperation in ensuring the success of the task force’s operations.

Speaking at each visit, Major General Dahiru Sanusi expressed gratitude to the hosts for their insights, noting that the knowledge gained would be invaluable in shaping the participants’ final reports.
