NSCDC KOGI STATE COMMAND NABS A SUSPECT, CHARGES HIM FOR CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY, CRIMINAL TRESPASS,THEFT , IMPERSONATION AND FORGERY

The NSCDC Kogi State Command nabbed and paraded one Aminu Yakubu 44 years (Male) at the State Headquarters Lokoja. The suspect who was arrested from Ankpa Local Government was allegedly arrested for the above mentioned offences.

The suspect was arrested after he criminally trespassed into the complainants premises and stole two (2) jerricans of engine oil and the sum of eighty three thousand naira #83,000.

Investigation further revealed that he’s criminally in possession of NSCDC uniform and acclaimed NSCDC recruitment forms which he used to impersonate, defraud and intimidate members of the public.

In his statement he confessed to the offences and made mention of his cohorts who are still at large . The suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.

The State Commandant Paul O Igwebuike used this medium to reiterate the Corps commitment towards ensuring a crime free society and charged the general public to avail the Corps of prompt and relevant information that will be used to clamp down on criminals while assuring them that such information will be treated with utmost confidentially.

He warned the criminally minded individuals to have a chanhe of mind or take a French leave out of the State for any one caught will definitely face the full wrath of the law.
