EID-EL- ADHA CELEBRATION: NSCDC DEPLOYS 1,200 OPERATIVES TO TAKE CHARGE OF SECURITY

The Sokoto Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence (NSCDC) under the leadership of Commandant Bello Alkali Argungu has deployed 1,200 of its operatives to take charge of the security and ensure arrest of law breakers, especially as it concerns public disturbance and vandals of government properties.

Additionally, the Sokoto NSCDC Command has also dispatched reasonable number of detectives charged with the responsibility of gathering information before, during and after Sallah break.

Speaking shortly before Sallah break, Commandant Argungu disclosed how his Sokoto NSCDC has perfected security plans in the state, stressing that the NSCDC in the state would not spare any criminal activities no matter how small it may be.

”Of course, and as usual my Command has fully prepared adequate security for the people of Sokoto in all nooks and crannies of the state. We shall be tough and go full swing at ensuring peace in the state before, during and after Sallah period.” said Commandant Argungu.
