The Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has approved the deployment of new Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) and Public Relations Liaison Officers to selected commands and formations of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to strengthen strategic communication, promote transparency and improve public access to credible police information.The postings are also aimed at enhancing media relations, strengthening public engagement and ensuring the timely dissemination of accurate information on police operations and activities across the country.Under the new deployment, SP Johnson A. Doghudje has been posted as Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 5 and can be reached on 08038773657. SP Ojedele Olanrewaju Tunji, anipr, has been assigned to Zone 11, Osogbo, and can be contacted on 09152481510.Similarly, DSP Orchia Adndongu has been posted to the Benue State Police Command, with 07013495466 as the contact number. DSP Imah Unwana Victor has been assigned to the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC) and can be reached on 08038281577.Other officers affected by the postings include ASP Abdulaziz Maharazu, deployed to the Police Academy (POLAC), who can be contacted on 07064684936; and ASP Yusuf Adamu Aliyu, posted to the Yobe State Police Command, with 08136394230 as his contact number.In addition, ASP Haruna Rashid Umar Abdullahi has been appointed Public Relations Liaison Officer for the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Gombe State and can be reached on 08130313033.The IGP charged the newly deployed officers to demonstrate professionalism, responsiveness and accuracy in carrying out their responsibilities.
