Katsina NSCDC Commandant Mourns Death of Former ACG’s Wife

TheNigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Katsina State Command, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hajiya Hadiza Babangida Abdullahi Dutsanma, wife of Assistant Commandant General (ACG) Babangida Abdullahi Dutsanma (Rtd), the immediate past Commandant of the College for Peace and Disaster Management, Babbar Rugga, Katsina State.
In a statement issued on Monday, the State Commandant, Commandant of Corps A.D. Moriki, ACTI, ANIM, on behalf of the management and personnel of the command, described the news of her passing as a great loss to the NSCDC family and the wider Katsina community.
Hajiya Hadiza died on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Katsina, after a prolonged illness.
Commandant Moriki paid tribute to the deceased, describing her as a woman of exceptional wisdom, compassion, humility, and integrity whose life positively impacted many people.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR; ACG Babangida Abdullahi Dutsanma (Rtd); members of the bereaved family; and the people of Katsina State over the painful loss.
The Commandant prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings, grant her eternal rest, and admit her into Jannatul Firdaus. He also prayed for the family to be granted the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
