 Kogi State Helmsman of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Paul Igwebuike has embarked on the wide tour of state, especially within the Lokoja capital of the state with a view to ensuring sustainance law and order as the nationwide protest kicked off yeasterday.

Commandant Igwebuike with some of his personnel was yesteday spoted moving tirelessly around the bustling streets of Lokoja metropolitan its suburbs and some other local government areas for on-the-spot assessment of the nationwide protests that commenced yesterday.

”We could not afford the risk of break down of law and order, as you are very much aware, the NSCDC is duty-bound by its mandate to ensure provision of security especially as it concerns lives and property and critical assets of the governmennt. Kogi State as you are very much aware is strategically locates, and this explains while we need to put extra efforts during and after the protest,

went on the spot assessment within lokoja metropolis and some local government areas after taking a bold step and strategic measures through advocacies in ensuring the safety and security of the state. The Commandant  moved tirelessly around the bustling streets of Lokoja metropolitan for an on-the-spot assessment of the nationwide protests that have gripped our nation.

Amidst the chaos and uncertainty that often accompany such events, it is with great pride and gratitude that Kogi State stands as an oasis of peace and tranquility. The state has remained relatively peaceful, a testament to the unity and resilience of its people.

Speaking further he reiterated the corps commitment through massive deployment to all the black spot and strategic location in the State to ensure maximum protection of lives and properties vis-a-vis Critical National Asset and Infrastructures in the State.
