Kogi State Helmsman of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Paul Igwebuike has embarked on the wide tour of state, especially within the Lokoja capital of the state with a view to ensuring sustainance law and order as the nationwide protest kicked off yeasterday.
Commandant Igwebuike with some of his personnel was yesteday spoted moving tirelessly around the bustling streets of Lokoja metropolitan its suburbs and some other local government areas for on-the-spot assessment of the nationwide protests that commenced yesterday.
”We could not afford the risk of break down of law and order, as you are very much aware, the NSCDC is duty-bound by its mandate to ensure provision of security especially as it concerns lives and property and critical assets of the governmennt.
