Earlier, the State Commandant, Commandant Abbas Nda Mohammed, said the visit was to formally pay homage to the Emir and seek his royal blessings following his assumption of office as the NSCDC Commandant in Kwara State.
He reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to professionalism, efficient service delivery, and intensified operations against all forms of criminality in the state.

He assured that the Command would continue to collaborate closely with traditional rulers, community leaders, and other stakeholders to enhance security and public safety across Kwara State.
