LSSTF Donates Bulletproof Vests, Helmets to Lagos NSCDC, Reaffirms Commitment to Security

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Lagos State Command has received a donation of bulletproof vests and protective helmets from the Lagos State Security Trust Fund as part of efforts to strengthen security operations and enhance personnel safety in the state.

The protective equipment was presented on Monday, 11 May 2026, by the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the LSSTF, Dr Ayo Ogunsan, to the Lagos State Commandant of the NSCDC, Adedotun Keshinro.

Speaking during the presentation, Dr Ogunsan stated that the donation reflected the Fund’s continued commitment to supporting security agencies in Lagos State and improving their operational effectiveness in safeguarding lives and property.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Command, Commandant Keshinro expressed appreciation to the management and staff of the LSSTF for what he described as a timely and significant intervention. He assured the Fund that the equipment would be effectively utilised to boost operational efficiency and ensure the safety of personnel during assignments.

The Commandant also commended the leadership of the LSSTF for its sustained partnership with security agencies across the state, noting that such collaboration remains essential in addressing contemporary security challenges.

He further thanked the Executive Secretary, Dr Ayo Ogunsan, and the entire staff of the Fund for the warm reception and support extended to the Corps during the presentation ceremony held at the office of the Trust Fund on Monday.
