The Commissioner of Police, Ebonyi State Command, was accorded a ceremonial guard of honour during a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ebonyi State Command, in a display that underscored discipline, mutual respect, and institutional collaboration.
The guard of honour, conducted by NSCDC personnel, reflected the Corps’ commitment to professionalism and inter-agency cooperation. The exercise symbolised the enduring partnership between the Nigeria Police Force and the NSCDC in maintaining law and order, as well as safeguarding critical national assets within the state.
The visit further reinforced the strategic alignment between both agencies, particularly in the areas of intelligence sharing, coordinated patrols, and joint operations aimed at tackling emerging security threats. It also provided an avenue for strengthening communication channels and reviewing existing security frameworks to enhance operational efficiency.
Speaking during the engagement, both leadership teams emphasised the importance of unity of purpose among security institutions, noting that collaborative efforts remain essential in addressing complex security challenges. They reiterated their commitment to sustained cooperation, professionalism, and proactive measures to ensure the safety and stability of Ebonyi State.
