Army Decries Low Enrolment of South East Youths Into Military Service


The Nigerian Army has expressed concern over the persistently low rate of enlistment of youths from the South East region into the Armed Forces.
Speaking on the development, military authorities noted that the imbalance in regional recruitment continues to pose challenges to representation and inclusivity within the force.
They stressed the need for increased awareness and mobilisation to encourage greater participation from all parts of the country, particularly from the South East, in order to strengthen national cohesion and operational effectiveness.
