Federal Fire Service Strengthens Ties with Nigerian Air Force’s 115 Special Operations Group


The State Controller of the Federal Fire Service (FFS), Rivers State Command, ACF Ikenna Obasi, paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Air Force Headquarters, 115 Special Operations Group, in Rivers State.
During the visit, the Commander of the 115 Special Operations Group expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a valuable step toward strengthening familiarisation and cooperation between the Nigerian Air Force and the Federal Fire Service.
In his remarks, ACF Ikenna Obasi emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration between both agencies, particularly in the areas of safety, sports, and risk assessment. He noted that strong inter-agency synergy would significantly enhance emergency response capabilities, especially in disaster management, firefighting operations, and joint training initiatives. He also highlighted the need for continued collaboration in preparations for upcoming international fire safety events.
The visit marks a significant step toward deepening inter-agency cooperation and reflects a proactive commitment to improving national emergency preparedness and building a safer environment for all.
