The Lagos State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr Adedotun Keshinro, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, received the Director of Special Services in the Office of the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Government, Mrs Muslimat Iyabode Agoro-Ojo, at his office in Alausa, Ikeja.
The visit by the Director and her team marks a significant step in strengthening inter-agency collaboration. It is expected to further enhance cooperation between the Corps and the Lagos State Government, particularly in the areas of public safety and security across the state.
During the meeting, both parties engaged in productive discussions on strategies to improve intelligence sharing, rapid response mechanisms, and coordinated operations aimed at tackling emerging security challenges in Lagos State. They emphasized the need for sustained synergy among security agencies to ensure a safer environment for residents.
The Commandant reaffirmed the commitment of the NSCDC to its core mandate of protecting critical national assets and infrastructure, while also assuring continued partnership with relevant government institutions. In her remarks, Mrs Agoro-Ojo commended the Corps for its efforts in maintaining peace and order, noting that stronger collaboration would further enhance effective service delivery and public confidence in security operations.
