Moro LG Chairperson Pays Courtesy Visit to New Kwara NSCDC Commandant 

The Executive Chairperson of Moro Local Government and Yeyemeso of Shao Kingdom, Alhaja Chief Mrs. Mariam Abdulwasiu Omotayo, today paid a courtesy visit to the new Kwara State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, at his office in Ilorin.

It would be recalled that the office of the Chairperson yesterday announced the commencement of a comprehensive renovation of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) office, Jebba Division. The initiative is part of her administration’s efforts to strengthen security architecture in Moro Local Government.

During the visit, the Chairperson congratulated Commandant Bodinga on his new posting to Kwara State. She also assured him of the peaceful and cooperative nature of the people of Kwara State, particularly the residents of Moro Local Government.

She further used the opportunity to hold a crucial discussion with the new Commandant on strategies that would further enhance the security of lives and property across Moro Local Government.
