Air Chief Reaffirms Commitment to Affordable Housing for Air Force Personnel


The Chief of the Air Staff, Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force commitment to improving the welfare of its personnel through the provision of affordable post service housing.
Speaking during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Nigerian Air Force Estates Project on 12 March 2026, an initiative of NAFIL Housing and Construction Company, the Air Chief stressed that prioritising the well being of personnel remains critical to sustaining a motivated, professional and mission ready force capable of delivering decisive air power in support of national security.
He explained that the project is in line with his command philosophy, which emphasises sustainable housing solutions for both serving and retired personnel. According to him, providing decent and affordable accommodation will help improve morale, strengthen commitment to duty and enhance the overall operational effectiveness of the Air Force.
