NSCDC Ondo Commandant Leads 9th Edition of Evening of Praise, Kicks Off 2026 Worship Programmes

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Ondo State Command successfully hosted the 9th edition of its Evening of Praise, a quarterly worship and thanksgiving programme. The event marked the first edition of the year 2026, providing an avenue to acknowledge God’s faithfulness over the command and its leadership.
The programme brought together officers, staff, and invited guests to offer prayers of gratitude, reflect on achievements, and seek divine guidance for the challenges ahead. Through hymns, worship sessions, and sermons, participants were reminded of the importance of faith in guiding both personal and professional endeavours.
The Ondo State Command uses the Evening of Praise not only as a spiritual exercise but also as a platform to strengthen bonds among personnel and foster a sense of unity and purpose within the Corps. The event showcased testimonies of God’s protection and blessings over the command’s operations and personnel throughout the previous quarter.
Speaking at the event, the Commandant of NSCDC Ondo State highlighted the significance of consistent worship and gratitude in building resilience, enhancing team spirit, and maintaining moral standards among officers. He encouraged personnel to continue their commitment to duty while upholding spiritual values that guide ethical and effective service.
The 9th edition concluded with prayers for continued success, safety, and divine guidance over the command’s operations in Ondo State. Plans were also announced for the next quarterly worship programme, reinforcing the command’s dedication to integrating spiritual growth with professional excellence.
