PLANNED PROTEST: GOMBE NSCDC CONDUCTS SHOW OF FORCE, TIGHTENS UP SECURITY AROUND CRITICAL NATIONAL ASSETS

In alignment with the directive of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence corps (NSCDC), Dr. Abubakar Ahmed Audi to all NSCDC State Commands, the Gombe State Commandant of the NSCDC, Muhammad Bello Muazu has directed water-tight security around critical assets and infrastructure to forestall any act of vandalism,  breach of public  peace , law and order  against the planned #ENDBADGOVERNANCE nationwide protest.

Additionally, Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu has personally led a show of force exercise within Gombe metropolis with his officers and men in anticipation of the proposed nationwide protest.

The show of force which kicked off from the Command State headquarters on a trek to  Jekadafari , Abatcha street  down to London Doruwa among other places was  intended to show the Command’s readiness and duty to protect the public professionally at all times.

The Corps, will work in synergy with other Security and law enforcement agencies to maintain peace in the estate.
