NSCDC Kwara, NAISET Ilorin Strengthen Institutional Collaboration


The Acting Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara State Command, DCC Ayelabowo Olusegun Isaac, on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, received the Acting Commandant of the Nigerian Army Institute of Science, Education and Technology (NAISET), Ilorin, Colonel Abbas Ahmad Abubakar, during a courtesy visit to the NSCDC State Command Headquarters in Ilorin.
The visit was aimed at strengthening institutional ties between the two security and educational establishments, with a focus on fostering cooperation in areas of shared responsibility and strategic interest within Kwara State.
Discussions during the meeting centred on issues relating to education, capacity building, and the promotion of positive community relations, as both leaders emphasised the importance of synergy in advancing national development and security objectives.
DCC Ayelabowo commended the leadership of NAISET for the visit, noting that sustained collaboration among sister agencies remains vital to effective service delivery, professionalism, and the nurturing of future leaders in the security sector.
Colonel Abubakar, in his remarks, expressed appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed NAISET’s commitment to deepening partnerships with the NSCDC, particularly in areas of training, knowledge exchange, and joint initiatives that will benefit the people of Kwara State.
