FFS Gombe Honours Fallen Heroes at 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Commemoration


The Federal Fire Service (FFS), Gombe State Command, has taken part in the nationwide commemoration of the 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day and Emblem Launch held in Gombe State.
The Command was represented at the solemn event by the State Controller, DCF Suleiman Mohamed Suleiman. The ceremony was officially presided over by the Deputy Governor of Gombe State, Dr. Manasseh Daniel Jatau, on behalf of the Executive Governor of the state.
Activities at the event included the traditional laying of wreaths, prayers for the repose of the souls of fallen heroes, and the formal launch of the Armed Forces Remembrance emblem, all in honour of gallant men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the defence of Nigeria.
The participation of the Federal Fire Service highlights the Command’s unwavering commitment to national unity, inter-agency collaboration, and deep respect for the sacrifices of Nigeria’s fallen heroes.
