NSCDC NASARAWA COMMAND WELCOMES AGRO RANGERS PERSONNEL FROM SPECIAL DUTY AT JANGWA RICE FARM

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nasarawa State Command, on Thursday held a colourful and celebratory reception in honour of its Agro Rangers personnel who successfully completed their special duty assignment at the State Government–owned Jangwa Rice Farm in Awe Local Government Area.

Receiving the returning personnel at the Command Headquarters in Lafia, the State Commandant, Brah Samson Umoru, expressed deep appreciation for their professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment throughout the period of the deployment.

Commandant Brah explained that the assignment at the Jangwa Rice Farm was a strategic intervention aimed at safeguarding government investments, preventing vandalism, and ensuring the overall safety of workers and critical agricultural assets within the expansive facility.

He applauded the officers for their impressive conduct, noting that their resilience, discipline, and operational efficiency reflect the Corps’ core values of integrity, vigilance, and service to the nation.

“I am immensely proud of your achievements. You have performed excellently and upheld the honour of this Command. Your return today is not only a celebration of duty well executed but also a reaffirmation of our commitment to securing critical national assets across the state,” he stated.

The brief but colourful reception featured a parade salute and warm cheers from officers and men who gathered to celebrate the successful completion of the mission.

Commandant Brah further assured the personnel of the Corps’ continued commitment to their welfare, enhanced training, and improved operational support to boost effectiveness in tackling emerging security challenges across Nasarawa State.

He urged the returning Agro Rangers to sustain the same level of discipline and professionalism as they reintegrate into their regular duty schedules.

The ceremony concluded with commendations from the Command leadership, who applauded the personnel for adding yet another operational milestone to the Command’s record of achievements.
