The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nasarawa State Command, on Monday, 8th December 2025, held its routine muster parade at the Command Headquarters in Lafia, during which the State Commandant, Commandant Brah Samson Umoru, addressed officers and men on the need for renewed dedication to duty.
In his address, Commandant Brah charged all personnel to redouble their efforts toward ensuring effective and efficient service delivery across the state. He stressed that the Corps must remain steadfast, disciplined, and proactive in carrying out its statutory responsibilities, particularly as security dynamics continue to evolve.
He reminded officers that professionalism, dedication, and integrity remain core values of the Corps, urging them to uphold the highest standards in public engagement and operational assignments.
“We must continue to give our best. The public relies on us for protection, support, and intervention. Let us recommit ourselves to the mandate of the Corps and work diligently for the safety and well-being of our communities,” he stated.
Commandant Brah further emphasized the importance of punctuality, loyalty, and teamwork, noting that collective commitment is essential to sustaining the Command’s growing operational achievements.
The muster parade ended with heightened morale among personnel, who pledged to intensify their efforts in safeguarding lives and property across the state.
