The Federal Fire Service (FFS), Bauchi State Command, led by the Acting State Controller, DCF Babangida Mallam Abba, paid a condolence visit today to the family of the late renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, at the Central Market Mosque in Bauchi.
The delegation included senior officers of the Command, as well as representatives of sister security and emergency agencies who joined in honoring the memory of the distinguished scholar.
During the visit, the Acting State Controller described the late Sheikh as “a beacon of knowledge, peace, and spiritual guidance whose contributions to Islamic scholarship and moral upliftment will continue to resonate across generations.” He noted that the loss of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi is deeply felt not only by his immediate family and the people of Bauchi State, but by the entire Muslim Ummah and Nigeria at large.
DCF Babangida Mallam Abba also offered special prayers for the peaceful repose of the Sheikh’s soul.
The Command expressed its heartfelt solidarity with the bereaved family and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence and strengthening community harmony.
The family of the late Sheikh expressed gratitude to the Federal Fire Service for the visit and for standing with them during their moment of grief.
