In a decisive effort to curb the rising tide of crime and insecurity across the state, Commandant Chinedu has launched a coordinated operation involving key tactical units in Delta, including the CTU, Female Squad, Safe School Unit, Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, and Gender Unit.
Determined to reposition the command to effectively confront emerging security threats, the State Commandant charged officers to remain vigilant, proactive, and committed to ensuring that criminal elements do not gain a foothold in Delta—particularly in matters relating to school attacks and kidnapping incidents.
Commandant Igbo, who personally supervised the assessment and selection of officers, inaugurated six tactical teams assigned to cover the three senatorial districts of Delta State. He confirmed the preparedness of the officers to execute their mandate and dismantle criminal operations before they escalate.
Reassuring the selected officers of continued welfare and logistical support, Commandant Chinedu urged them to deliver results that will make school attacks, kidnappings, and gender-based violations a thing of the past. He concluded by reminding them that “to whom much is given, much is expected.”
