Enugu NSCDC Commandant Dr. Elijah Etim Willie Receives Nomination Letter for 2025 People’s Security Monitor Summit and Recognition Award

The Enugu State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Elijah Etim Willie, has been formally presented with a letter of nomination for the upcoming 2025 People’s Security Monitor Annual Security Summit and Recognition Award. The presentation was conducted by Isiaka Mustapha, the Chief Operating Officer and Editor in Chief of People’s Security Monitor, during a courtesy visit to the NSCDC Enugu State Command Headquarters.

In his remarks during the presentation, Isiaka Mustapha described Dr. Willie as a super three time State Commandant, acknowledging his remarkable service and leadership across Ebonyi, Niger, and now Enugu States. He commended the Commandant for his professionalism, integrity, and strategic vision in strengthening community security and promoting interagency collaboration. Mustapha explained that Dr. Willie’s nomination recognizes his sustained dedication to public safety, effective crisis management, and his contributions to national peace and security.

Dr. Elijah Etim Willie thanked the People’s Security Monitor for acknowledging his efforts, noting that the recognition serves as both a privilege and an encouragement to further his dedication to public service. He emphasized his determination to maintain the ideals of the NSCDC, which include discipline, alertness, and commitment to the protection of citizens. Dr. Willie also highlighted the importance of strengthening collaborations that promote peace, harmony, and national stability. The 2025 People’s Security Monitor Annual Security Summit and Recognition Award is slated for Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Nigerian National Merit Award House in Maitama, Abuja.
