NSCDC Katsina Command Strengthens Ties with Judiciary and Media for Enhanced Security Cooperation

The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Katsina State Command, Commandant of Corps A.D. Moriki, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, paid courtesy visits to the Chief Judge of Katsina State, Hon. Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar, and the General Manager of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Katsina, Alhaji Muhammad Lawal Baba.

The visits, held at the State High Court and NTA Katsina offices respectively, were aimed at strengthening the existing cordial relationship between the NSCDC and both institutions, while fostering greater collaboration in the pursuit of peace, safety, and effective security management across the state.

During his remarks, Commandant Moriki reaffirmed his commitment to consolidating partnerships with key stakeholders in Katsina State. He underscored the importance of synergy between security agencies, the judiciary, and the media in ensuring a safer society and enhancing public confidence in security operations.

The Commandant also expressed deep appreciation for the warm reception accorded him and his team, emphasizing the need for sustained collaboration, cooperation, and mutual understanding.

In their separate responses, the Chief Judge and the General Manager, NTA Katsina, commended the NSCDC for its dedication to safeguarding critical national assets and infrastructure. They assured the Commandant of their continued support and partnership toward achieving a more secure and peaceful Katsina State.
