The National Association of Scrap and Waste Dealers Employee of Nigeria (NASWDEN) under the Chairmanship of Alhaji Hashimu Maigemu has signified its intention to foster stronger partnerships and working relationship with the Kogi Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
Speaking during the association courtesy call to the Kogi Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Paul Igwebuike, its Chairman, Alhaji Maigemu disclosed the Association’s pivotal role in environmental sustainability, resource conservation, and economic development.
”In today’s fast-paced world, the significance of collaboration cannot be overstated. As members of the National Association of Scrap and Waste Employee of Nigeria (NASWDEN), Kogi State chapter, we understand the immense potential that lies in joining forces and pooling resources to yield the desired result.
Our industry plays a pivotal role in environmental sustainability, resource conservation, and economic development. It is through synergy and collaboration with relevant stakeholders like NSCDC, a leading para military agency in charge of Critical National Asset and Infrastructures that we can amplify our impact and drive positive change.” said Alhaji Maigemu.
He harped that the association believed in legitimate transaction amongst its members and discourage all forms of ill dealings in all facet.
In his response the Commandant Paul Igwebuike highlighted the role of NSCDC especially in area of protection of all Critical National Assets and Infrastructures, warning that the association should enlighten its members to be wary of buying and selling items without legitimate sources that can lure one into problem.” Commandant Igwebuike warned.
He assured them of the Corps collaboration charging them to always give vital and useful intelligent information to the Command to clamp down criminals in our society.
