CG Olumode Visits Nyanya, Apo Fire Stations, Reaffirms Commitment to Staff Welfare and Service Efficiency

As part of his ongoing official tour of Federal Fire Service (FFS) stations within the Federal Capital Territory, the Controller General, Olumode Samuel Adeyemi, FCNA, ACTI, on Friday, October 10, 2025, paid a working visit to the Nyanya and Apo Fire Stations, accompanied by senior management officers of the Service.

The visit, which follows the commencement of his FCT tour on Thursday, October 2, 2025, provided the CGF with an opportunity to assess the operational readiness of the stations and interact directly with frontline personnel.

Officials from various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) also joined the interactive session, where they exchanged ideas and discussed operational challenges and prospects for enhanced collaboration.

During the visit, the Controller General inspected facilities, engaged officers in open discussions, and carefully listened to their concerns regarding welfare and logistics.

In his response, CG Olumode reassured the personnel of his administration’s steadfast commitment to improving staff welfare, addressing operational gaps, and strengthening logistics support to ensure effective service delivery across all formations.

He commended the officers and men for their hard work, professionalism, and dedication to duty, urging them to remain disciplined, proactive, and people-focused in carrying out their responsibilities.
