NSCDC Strengthens Partnership with Scrap Dealers to Combat Vandalism in Kano

The Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has reaffirmed its partnership with the National Association of Scrap and Waste Dealers Employers of Nigeria (NASWDEN) in the ongoing fight against vandalism.

The State Commandant, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, received the leadership of NASWDEN at the Command Headquarters in Kano. The delegation was led by the association’s National Deputy President, Alhaji Aminu Hassan Soja, alongside Alhaji Sani Jakara, Sarkin Karfe Kano, the State Chairman, and other executives.

In his remarks, Commandant Bodinga pledged continuous support for legitimate members of NASWDEN to thrive in their businesses. He, however, stressed the need for stronger collaboration between the Corps and the association to curb the criminal activities of vandals in Kano and across Nigeria.

Responding, Alhaji Aminu Soja assured the Corps of NASWDEN’s full cooperation and commitment to assisting the NSCDC in safeguarding critical infrastructure and fighting vandalism nationwide.
