NSCDC Nasarawa Commandant Brah Samson Umoru Presents Deployment Letter to Governor Sule

The newly deployed State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nasarawa State Command, Commandant Brah Samson Umoru, on Tuesday,, officially presented his letter of deployment to the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, at the Government House, Lafia.

While presenting the letter, Commandant Umoru expressed his readiness to collaborate with the state government, sister security agencies, and community stakeholders to strengthen peace and security across the state. He assured that under his leadership, the Corps would uphold discipline, professionalism, and effective service delivery in line with its mandate of safeguarding lives, property, and critical national assets.

In his response, Governor Sule welcomed the new Commandant to Nasarawa State and pledged his administration’s continued support to enable the Corps deliver on its statutory responsibilities. He further encouraged Commandant Umoru to build on existing collaborations and enhance security operations within the state.

The deployment of Commandant Brah underscores the NSCDC’s commitment to repositioning its security structures nationwide, ensuring improved service delivery and deeper community engagement.
