NSCDC Partners with ONSA to Strengthen Protection of Critical National Assets in Abia State

In line with directives from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abia State Command, under the leadership of Commandant Akinsola Aderemi, convened a state-level coordination meeting with security agencies and key stakeholders across the state.

The meeting brought together heads of various security agencies to deliberate on comprehensive strategies for safeguarding Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI). Discussions emphasized the importance of inter-agency collaboration and shared responsibility in protecting these vital assets.

In a related effort, stakeholders from government institutions, private sector organizations, and community leadership participated in an interactive forum focused on enhancing the protection of CNAI across the state.

Key objectives of the engagements included identifying emerging threats, promoting best practices in asset protection, and fostering coordinated collaboration among stakeholders to ensure the effective security of critical infrastructure.
