NSCDC, NTA Katsina Pledge Stronger Partnership on Public Awareness and Security

The newly appointed General Manager of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Katsina, Muhammad Lawan Baba, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). He was received by the State Commandant, Commandant of Corps Aminu Datti Ahmad (fsf, MADM, FCAI), at the Command Headquarters in Katsina.

Baba explained that the visit formed part of his familiarization tour across agencies and key stakeholders in the state. He noted that NTA has enjoyed cordial working relationships with NSCDC formations in other states and expressed his commitment to sustaining and strengthening that cooperation in Katsina.

The GM pledged that NTA Katsina would collaborate more closely with the Corps in sensitizing the public on safety, security, and the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure across the state.

In his response, Commandant Ahmad warmly welcomed the new GM and assured him of NSCDC’s full support and partnership. He stressed the importance of NTA’s role in educating and enlightening the public on security consciousness, while underscoring the collective responsibility of safeguarding national assets for sustainable development.
