In pursuit of the mandate of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), it is worthy of note that collaborative efforts between relevant stakeholders and organizations can not be overemphasized, one of which is the recent unprecedented kind gesture of MTN Nigeria towards the Lagos State Command as the Command receives two ( 2 ) refurbished vehicles today, Wednesday, 20th August, 2025, at the MTN’s office in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The Lagos State Commandant, Mr Keshinro Adedotun was present at the official hand over of the refurbished vehicles to him, in a bid to affirm his unflinching resolve towards the protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure, further strengthen the cordial relationship between MTN Nigeria and the Corps as well as to show gratitude over the kind gesture of MTN towards the Command.
The Lagos State Commandant seized the opportunity to promise the judicious use of the vehicles, for operational purposes that will eventually, aid the stamping out of vandalism, theft, destruction, sabotage and other dastardly evils known to be associated, with the telecommunications and information assets and infrastructure industry amidst others.
The Acting Senior Manager, MTN Security, Mr Peter Akombo also lauded the Corps for its unrelentless efforts in ensuring the ceaseless protection of CNAI in the state. He promised that the third ( 3rd ) vehicle will also be delivered to the Command as soon as its refurbishment is complete accordingly.
The Acting Senior Manager, MTN Security, affirmed that MTN will continue to extend their support to the Corps and other agencies of government in a bid to ensure seamless operations that will further enhance the security of the telecommunications and information assets and infrastructure in the state .
