FLOOD ALERT: WE MUST ENSURE RESIDENCE AT RISK RELOCATE…CC Ishaku

The State Commandant Ishaku Musa made this assertion while calling on the Government and people of the state especially those residents who are in danger and at risk of flood to as a matter of urgency relocate .

He made this statement while addressing some group of press men in his office, while calling for caution Ishaku, says ” As the rain increases the risk also increases .Therefore the need to evacuate lives and property from those area prone threat cannot be over emphasize”

Comdt Ishaku urges residents of the state to imbibe the habit of clearing drainages and adhere to the monthly Environmental Sanitation observed by the Plateau Environmental And Protection Agency(PEPSA)

He directed the Head of Unit Disaster Management to ensure sensitization and awareness are carried out to such communities.

Some of this communities are: Rayfield, Bukuru in Jos South and Shendam Local Government Area
