He made the charge on Monday, 23rd June at the State Command headquarters in Uyo while addressing management staff and Divisional Officers from the 31 LGAs in Akwa Ibom State.

For emphasis, Commandant Bashar highlighted Critical Infrastructures – power installations, telecommunication installations, oil and gas pipelines etc must constantly be under surveillance, backed by actionable intelligence. He added that PGC operations should be given attention, same as preventive information relating to disasters and how they can be curtailed.

He shared tips on how to collect, collate, evaluate, analyse, integrate and interpret collected information from different sources in order to preempt, and counter threat of criminal activities.
