Helmsman of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Ishaku Musa, has urged residents of the state to sustain the vigilance and security consciousness they demonstrated during the Sallah celebration last Friday, even after the festive period.
Speaking early this morning with journalists during a media parley, Musa disclosed that criminals remain unrelenting in their deadly activities and often strike at the least expected moments, typically when people appear to let their guard down.
Commandant Musa commended Plateau residents for their vigilance and cooperation with NSCDC operatives and other security agents before, during, and after the Sallah holiday.
He emphasized that security is a collective responsibility and should not be left solely in the hands of security agencies.
“It is the responsibility of everyone to report any suspicious individuals or activities around them to security agents for immediate action,” Musa said.
