Ex-Defence chief, Ogohi, Dies

A former Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Ibrahim Ogohi (retd.), is dead.

He was said the have passed on after a brief illness in the early hours of Sunday.

Ogohi was the Chief of Defence Staff between 1999 and 2003.

The Director of Information, Nigerian Navy, Commodore Adams-Aliu confirmed the news to our correspondent.
