”Be Vigilant, report any suspicious movements or activities promptly to security agents,” Plateau NSCDC Commandant, Ishaku Musa tells residents

Helmsman of the Plateau State Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Ishaku Musa, has warned residents to be vigilant and to promptly report any suspicious movements or activities to the nearest security formation.

Commandant Musa issued the warning last week while speaking about the activities of the NSCDC in the state. He said:

Commandant Musa said: “We should exercise a great deal of suspicion about events around us, because no matter the efforts of security agents, criminals remain unrepentant in their nefarious activities, which they carry out under different and numerous disguises. This explains why we should be extraordinarily suspicious of people and activities around us.

“Intelligence is a potent weapon in fighting criminality and insecurity, especially when it is volunteered by locals at the grassroots, who are conversant with and knowledgeable about activities in their communities.”

He urged NSCDC officers to always adhere to the Corps’ SOP while carrying out their responsibilities.
