The A.A. Sule Gida Gida Support Group has proudly honoured the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nasarawa State Command, in recognition of its immense contribution to the safety and protection of lives and properties across the state.

In a special ceremony held in Lafia, the leadership of the Support Group presented a prestigious award to the Command, lauding its unwavering dedication, professionalism, and effectiveness in combating crime, safeguarding critical infrastructure, and maintaining public peace.

Speaking during the event, the Coordinator of the A.A. Sule Gida Gida Support Group, Haj. Hussaina A Sule, expressed deep appreciation for the strategic role played by the NSCDC in ensuring a secure environment conducive to growth and development under the leadership of His Excellency, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State.

“We are gathered here today to celebrate courage, dedication, and a commitment to duty. The NSCDC Nasarawa Command has demonstrated all these and more in its tireless efforts to protect our communities. Their contribution aligns perfectly with Governor Sule’s vision for a peaceful and prosperous state,” the Chairperson said.

Receiving the award on behalf of the Command, the State Commandant of NSCDC, the Deputy Commandant John Joseph Efere, thanked the A.A. Sule Gida Gida Support Group for the recognition and reiterated the Corps’ commitment to upholding the highest standards of service and integrity.

The NSCDC Nasarawa State Command’s proactive approach to security challenges and community engagement has earned it widespread recognition and respect.

“This honour is a motivation for us to continue giving our best. We are proud to serve the people of Nasarawa State and we will not relent in our mission to ensure the safety of every citizen,” he affirmed.
